Being able to tell stories was always something that I wanted to do, but it wasn’t until I bought my first camera and shot my first visually driven short film that I knew that cinematography would be how I would tell those stories.

Growing up in Northern Europe I was influenced by the various new wave cinema movements of the past, as well as the dreamlike works of Andrei Tarkovsky and Wong Kar-Wai. After coming to the US I combined all that knowledge with the conventions of American cinema and my long history in extreme sports to create a style that was daring, action packed, and unique. 

While style is important, every project is drastically different and I approach it as such. Knowing your story in and out so that I can enhance it with visual language is my goal. There’s nothing better than collaborating and bringing your vision to life. Capturing moments that resonate long after the credits roll is what I strive to do every single time.
